Irwin Chen

Irwin Chen is Director of Visualization Design at the Mintz Group, as well as the Design Lead at the Journalism + Design Program at The New School. He has worked as a design technologist since 1996 for a range of design firms, start-ups, and social networking companies, and subsequently as an information architect and interaction design consultant. Former clients have included GOOD Magazine, MoMA, ProPublica, and PlanetMoney.

He has taught publication design, interaction design, and digital humanities at Parsons School for Design and Eugene Lang College at The New School since 2007.​
