Mintz Group, Practitioners, Again Recognized by Chambers

Global investigative and due diligence firm, Mintz Group and two of its partners, Jim Mintz and Ian Casewell, have been ranked in the 2022 Chambers Business Intelligence & Investigations guides for the U.K. and U.S.  Rankings are assessed on criteria that include technical ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities that the client considers relevant. 

Chambers & Partners describes Mintz Group as “a well-recognized and longstanding practitioner in the North American intelligence and investigations market. The firm has significant capabilities in finding admissible evidence to support litigators in court or during settlements, particularly in intellectual property, white-collar defense and commercial litigation.”

Chambers research interviewees observe that Mintz Group, “…has a number of well-qualified former prosecutors in the US. They have strong connections to law firms brought in by boards and senior management teams.” Another interviewee indicates Mintz Group, “…are very strong on the litigation support side. They do a lot of background checks.”

Ian Casewell, partner, head of the firm’s London office, and co-head of Mintz Group’s asset tracing practice was recognized for expertise in corporate investigations, investigative support in large-scale disputes and frauds as well as in the area of asset tracing and in helping creditors enforce judgments.  An interviewee says: “[Ian’s] a top practitioner with a depth of experience. He is cool, calm and collected.”  Another source adds that Ian: “is a serious operator. He has done a lot of work with litigation funders and is hard hitting.”

Jim Mintz, firm founder, board member, and founding member and director of the International Association of Independent Private Sector Inspectors General, earns Chambers highest recognition.  Chambers says of the firm, “When it comes to evidence and contacts, Mintz are practicing at another level.
