Mintz Group, a global leader in investigative services, has announced the opening of their Mexico City office. Sean Anderson, a Director experienced in conducting complex litigation, integrity due diligence and asset tracing investigations throughout Latin America, will head the office.
“We’ve worked on the ground in Mexico for over a decade, supporting clients before they form new relationships, while involved in disputes or in the wake of corruption or fraud allegations,” said Anderson. “Opening an office in Mexico City will further strengthen our capabilities to help support local clients as well as clients with interests here.”
“The Mexico office is part of our plan to expand our international footprint, and it will act as a regional hub for investigations throughout Spanish-speaking Latin America,” said Tim Whipple, President and CEO of Mintz Group. “Sean’s extensive experience in Latin America, and in Mexico in particular, makes him the obvious candidate to spearhead the initiative.”
Anderson has conducted numerous investigations throughout Latin America involving complex disputes and the evaluation of counterparties in major transactions, with a particular emphasis on the infrastructure, energy and financial services sectors.
Fluent in Spanish and proficient in French, Anderson worked at another leading investigations firm before joining the Mintz Group, where he focused on pre-deal, FCPA and compliance investigations in a wide variety of jurisdictions across Europe, Africa and Latin America.
