Neha Aggarwal
Director
Neha Aggarwal is a Director who heads our Mumbai office. She oversees pre-hire and pre-transactional due diligence and specializes in conducting complex litigation investigations, anti-corruption investigations and asset tracing investigations across South Asia.
She has conducted and managed hundreds of investigations in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal across a variety of sectors. Neha has conducted deep, public record research across Asia, Europe and North America and fieldwork in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Recently, she managed an anti-corruption investigation in Bangladesh where she found patterns of collusion between bidders for multiple projects tendered by an international organization. She has also conducted investigations for Fortune 500 companies focused on identifying policy risks in the e-commerce sector in India; investigated the motivation and veracity of whistleblower allegations against a foreign company in India; and investigated extortion threats made to a logistics and infrastructure company in South Asia.
Prior to joining Mintz Group, Neha worked with another corporate investigations firm in disputes and investigations; and was a project coordinator with the Brookings Institution, a leading global think tank in Washington, DC, where she focused on U.S.-India foreign policy. She has also worked for a chamber of commerce in India and conducted research on trade patterns and illicit trade for the United Nations’ Economic and Social Commission for South Asia.
Neha has a MA in International Economics and South Asia Studies from The Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a BA in Economics from Jai Hind College. Neha is fluent in English and Hindi.
