Saffa Ahmed is a Senior Managing Investigator and leads the Mintz Group’s Middle East and North Africa practice. She specializes in providing investigative support to large scale transactional due diligence assignments, commercial disputes cases, and executive background checking matters for institutional investors, financial institutions and law firms across the MENA region in a broad range of sectors.

Saffa has managed and worked on various corporate risk assignments. These include advising clients on investment decisions for high value transactions and profiling and investigating multinational companies and high net worth individuals.

Saffa has also conducted numerous litigation support investigations, including determining the footprint and identifying the most viable assets of debtors across the MENA region. Most recently, Saffa has worked on two of the largest bankruptcy cases in the Gulf region and the US, which included asset profiling and sanctions screening of several creditors, and interviewing witnesses, in support of the trustees' investigations.

Saffa has extensive research experience working in the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining the Mintz Group, Saffa worked in a leading role for a specialist conference and exhibitions group based in London, with a focus on investment and finance in the MENA region. She also previously worked in Sudan as a market research analyst for one of the largest sugar companies in Africa, analyzing trends and market prospects in Sudan’s agribusiness industry. Saffa earned a BA in Development Studies and Arabic from SOAS, University of London.
